The Palestinian Folklore Center was established in 1972 with
the objective of studying, understanding, and safeguarding
Palestinian folklore. The Center is open for researchers,
students, and visitors of all kinds. The Center has so far
published 38 issues on Palestinian Folklore and held several
festivals dealing with the Palestinian folklore as part of
its cultural activities. The Palestinian Folklore Center has
the following sections:

Folklore material such as songs, proverbs, tales, customs,
and games are compiled and preserved at the Folklore
Archive. .

Documentation center and archives:
|
|
|
Documents, articles, and Journals that concentrate on
Palestinian issues, are kept at the Documentation Center and
Archives.

|
|
|
|
|
The Museum was established in 1976; it is the home of the
following:
1. Palestinian Pottery.
2. Traditional musical instruments.
3. Old traditional metal arms.
4. Agricultural equipment.
5. Traditional Palestinian home.
6. A sample Palestinian home.
7. A traditional Palestinian guest room (Al Madafeh)

The library at the Society of Ina’ash El-Usra was opened
in 1970. It contains 12000 books and volumes that deal with
various topics. The Library is open to members, staff,
students, and researchers. The library has recently added a
section for children with over 2000 titles.
